Mulayam Singh Yadav, 82, was moved to intensive care on Sunday after his health deteriorated. Sources said Yadav was having difficulty breathing and was under the supervision of internal medicine expert Dr Sushila Kataria at Haryana Hospital.

Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh went to the hospital on Friday to ask after him.
“I visited Medanta Hospital in Gurugram and inquired about the health and welfare of former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Mulayam Singh Yadav. I pray to God that he recovers soon” , Singh said in a tweet in Hindi.
Earlier, Mulayam Singh Yadav’s son and former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav visited the hospital. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and several other leaders from all political walks of life wished Mulayam Singh Yadav a speedy recovery.
Meanwhile, the Samajwadi party advised party workers not to rush to Gurugram.
