Pender Harbor Health Auxiliary celebrates its 84th anniversary. It was the first auxiliary health branch established on the coast, at St Mary’s Hospital in Garden Bay. Members, true miracle workers, are asking for donations that will support health programs across the coast. This Saturday, December 4 at 3 p.m. at the Egmont Community Hall, a meeting will be held to provide more information on the SCRD’s proposal to increase local property taxes to help fund the local fire department. Find out how that money will be spent.

A Merry Christmas Faire, in a week, Saturday, December 11 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Pender Harbor Community Hall, will feature a fantastic variety of artisan vendors, community group shows and live music! Live a beautiful festive experience with your friends and family in the beautiful, warm and welcoming heritage room. This recall event is hosted by the Pender Harbor Community Club.
